Landus Cooperative is preparing for the harvest season with an additional 1.8 million bushel storage, receiving and drying capacity. The total investment is more than $8 million.
In Boxholm in Webster County a new 700,000 bushel upright, steel bin and upgraded conveyor equipment rated at 20,000 bushels per hour were complete earlier this summer. The local investment was $2.5 million.
In Early in Sac County construction has been completed on a new 300,000 upright, steel bushel wet holding bin and a 7,000 bushel per hour dryer with two new conveying legs. The local investment was $2.5 million.
And in Woodward in Dallas County anew 840,000 bushel bin will soon be complete. The project includes an additional 14,000 bushels per hour of receiving capacity and upgraded conveying equipment for three original tanks. The improvements are slated to increase truck unloading speed tremendously. The local investment was $3.1 million.
